My Practically Perfect in Everyway-Day

Well... I've enjoyed the recent posts, hearing about your everyday lives. I must admit that my daily schedule doesn't always look so glamorous, but today was just 'ordinarily great'... so I thought I'd post it.
Picking flowers is one of my favorite things! David is a bit obsessive when it comes to the yard... so I have many to chose from.
Next... I'm a bit obsessive about my refridgerator. When I'm in pain or angry, I like to clean. Yes... Those are fresh herbs in water on the bottom shelf! I know I'm crazy, but doesn't it look fabulous?
Onto lunch... leftover wild rice with a bit of cheese and fresh cilantro. YUMMMM.
Cleaning the sink is a flylady thing... I'm learning to fly! I'm not always perfectly 'green' when it comes to cleaning, but I had a few old lemons and I love the smell of the vinegar and lemons!
Off to see the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Tonight!!! A dear friend blessed us with free tickets today. What a practically perfect day!

Hi You! I am going through withdrawal from talking to you too. :) Things have been crazy around here lately. My "list of things to do" for the next day gets longer every day! One of those things to do is put up a new post. I'll try to do that tonight. Billy and I got some great pictures of the girls at the picnic, so maybe I'll post those.
Anyways, have fun tonight! That sounds like SO much fun! I love the picture of the flowers. I'm hoping to start planting some tomorrow. And no comment would be complete without mentioning LOST! I thought that was one of the best episodes ever. Can't wait to talk to you about it! I'll try to call you tomorrow and if I get you on the phone, we'll put a 15 minute limit on the conversation. :) Love you and hope to see you Sunday. Still not sure if we will be able to make it to Church because Billy is having a terrible time with his back. Miss you!!

Sorry, it's me again! I forgot to thank you for your prayers and for remembering my appointment. This whole skin cancer thing is very confusing! It appears that the pathology report has gone missing. It's kind of important that they find it, because I need to know if they got it all or they didn't and it could be spreading to other organs. I go back Monday so please keep me in your prayers. :) Love you.

You're always so picturesque!

How do you clean your sink? Do you have a special way? Mine always looks grimy. I want a pretty sink.

Michelle- First, sprinkle the bottom of the sink with plenty of baking soda... Have your lemons ready to scrub (cut in half, dipped in salt). Then pour enough vinegar (or spray) to get a nice 'foam'. Let the foam set for a few seconds.... then scrub!!

Hi! I got your message but didn't call you back because I figured you were already out to dinner. Hope you had a great time! Unfortunately, we won't be at church in the morning. Billy's back is still really hurting and he needs to take it easy. Hopefully we will be able to come to care group.

I was thinking, perhaps I could have you come over, make you VERY angry and then you might want to clean MY fridge! :) Well, it was worth a try anyways! Miss you tons and can't wait to talk to you. We have lots to catch up on! Love you!

Your herbs in the frig look wonderful. Do you have them growing out in the yard or do you buy them at the grocery store? Keep us posted!
I won't be able to show this to Thom, he will want to hire you. Your flowers look so beautiful!
