The Best View Ever...

Sometimes it's the longest and most rugged roads that lead us to the best views.

The hard work of being a mom is overshadowed by these sweet moments... sometimes they're few and far between, but I don't even have to leave my couch to take in such beauty.
Thankful for priceless moments, captured on film. The blood, sweat and tears that go into setting up a sprinkler, finding bathing suits (or Doodles training pants for poor Baby Brotha'), applying sunscreen and picking up dog poop out of the yard... only to have one blissful moment before the water comes on and true terror sets in.

I love that Baby Brotha' loves to just sit in a chair and pose as I snap pictures.

He's quite proud of himself for getting up there all alone.

I love how helpful Doodle is. When I say... "O.k. Let's get ready for naps." She thinks... "Hmmm... I guess that means it's time to go outside, strip down, fill the ice bucket full of water and take a bath."

Then proceeds to try to show me 'shadow puppets' with her hands to avoid getting in trouble.

I love how Elliot takes the time to sit and ponder life.

I love how full of life and mischief Evangeline is.

Thankful that at least she doesn't mind wearing big bows...

Love how curious this boy is...

Best view ever...

Sometimes the view may appear a bit mundane or cluttered at times... but that just means we aren't looking hard enough.
