One of 'Those Days'

It's been one of those days...

that we're all in tears by 9:30.

One of those days that you decided to just turn a movie on to defuse the chaos... but spend 15 minutes searching for the $%#^%& remote. Once you find the remote... the dvd player will not work. You spend an ungodly amount of time (along with an ungodly attitude) trying to fix it, but give up do to a screaming and clingy little boy pulling your pants down.

 One of those days that you don't have time to pee... then sneeze and suffer the consequences.

One of those days that has Evangeline begging for 'mercy mommy! I need mercy!' (she's very dramatic)...

... and Mommy begging God... 'Mercy... I need mercy!' (I think she got her drama from me)...

One of those days that I don't have time to capture a moment on film... so I go through old pictures to try and illustrate my story.

One of those days that my computer freezes then deletes the post I just wrote... (thank God I didn't spend too much time writing)...

One of those days that makes you thankful for bedtime.

Thankful that His mercies will be new the next day...

... because you sopped today's mercies up with a biscuit... and even borrowed some of your husband's mercies (because he always seems to have some leftovers)...

One of those days...

that you're tempted to complain... and actually give in...

...then realize that if a new dvd player and adult diapers are your greatest need for the day...

... then you have a lot to be grateful for...

... tearful. exhausted. overwhelmed. out of breath. discouraged. sweaty. sticky. in pain...
