Hey Cheryl! I was really disappointed to miss out on ladies group. It's been a rough week for me pain-wise. I've been reading the book. I've had to take some pain meds this week, unfortunately.If all else fails... I know Doug has a stash! Talk to ya soon!
So fun to read your posts. But I have to laugh... there are so many of them in quick succession - I love it. But you go from never using a computer to being the most prolific blogger! Do we ever do anything in moderation, friend? LOL!
Well, hello Jessica. Hmmmm, full time cult member. Well, I guess you could say that... I have switched from boot cut jeans to high-waisted tapered leg jeans, acid wash only please. Also, my collection of jumpers has grown, as has my collection of white deck shoes, otherwise known as keds. They may not be keds though, because we don't want to be too showy & we need to stick to our budget. I vary the look with the jumper by wearing different colored turtlenecks underneath. In the summer too, you ask? Well, yes, dear, it may be hot outside, but modesty matters. Ruth & I have also begun wearing matching dresses. I'm so proud gazing upon her walk down to the stream to fetch our water... What? What stream you ask? Well, we're so budget smart that we decided that electricity was just too much for us. We live in a small, modest yet handsome house that Danny built with the help of Amos, Abe & Eli. It's such a relief to not be pestered by the annoyances of the world. You know, things like comfort, heat, a/c, TV/entertainment, delicous food, etc. Oh, the list goes on & on. We do get the odd look every now & then while driving the horse & buggy to church. People love to honk those horns on those motorcars!
All in all, homeschooling is going well. I plan to homeschool them through college as well...
