Jessica's Apple Pie Diet

This was my first attempt at a real, homemade, from scratch Apple Pie! It turned out pretty good... so here's the diet plan. No... not low-fat or anything ridiculous. Just a few tips (Jessica Style) to live by.

1. Spend hours slaving away in the kitchen... by the time the pie's ready, your too tired to eat it.

2. Make your husbands favorite pie... not yours. We don't want to be tempted with days worth of leftovers!

3. Portions. Give friends and family twice the amount than you eat yourself. They will pack on a few pounds, which leaves you appearing thinner and more fabulous than those around you!!!

HAPPY DIETING

Hey Jessica, That pie looks amazing. Apple pie is Don's favorite You've inspired me to make one for him. Sharon B. makes an incredible apple pie. It's not for anyone that is dieting. Hope your day is happy.

Beautiful Jessica!

One of my favorite quotes of yours is "the fatter you are, the skinner I look". Best said when you're serving up a large slice of apple pie a la mode.

Erin- the crust was surprisingly easy! I don't even have a food processor... that would've helped.

Michelle- What a great quote! We should still do that book!

I putting my order in now for the pie in December...

We are hoping to be on the way over the holidays so you have plenty of time to perfect it...although it doesn't look like it needs perfecting.

Hey! That was some GOOD food last night and it was so nice to have adult conversation. Thanks to you and Dave for the text about LOST, but I have to say that I was a wee bit disappointed. Regardless, I STILL believe that Charlie is o.k. and this is a dream or something. Allright, I'll stop obsessing over it now!
Expect to see your picture on my blog soon. Don't worry, it will be the second picture taken, even though my smile is so big in that one and I look like a spaz! But you look nice! :) See you for sure on Sunday. Billy and I have our first class at 8:30 a.m., so please pray that I will find the discipline to get out of bed! I know as soon as the class starts it will be great, but I am just not a morning person. Love ya and enjoy your leftovers!
