The Belly Shot


Well, this is baby girl Rockey at 35 weeks! Everyone keeps telling me that I'm not that big... but I feel huge! Her head is already down and she's about 5 1/2 lbs. I have to laugh at myself every time I act totally pregnant... waddling to the bathroom every five minutes, moaning each time I try to roll over or get up. It's pretty hysterical.
On a serious note... I have been in a lot of pain. My lower back and hips are really hurting. Many of you have been asking how my back is holding up... I usually sugar coat how I'm really feeling. I'll just be honest now and let you all know that I need your prayers. The pain has become overwhelming and it affects every minute of my day. Mentally, I've been starting to breakdown a bit, which is starting to make me nervous.
I'm so grateful for this season the Lord has blessed me with... I just know that I need the prayer and support of my dear friends. Thanks for listening...

Hey Jess! I understand how you are feeling!!! I know my back was never quite as bad as yours... but mine got super bad too the last trimester. We just have issues with all that weight on the belly pulling on the back.... it's sooooo hard!!! I had to quit cleaning teeth 2 weeks early because the pain was too much.... crying while working on a patient is not so good :) I will keep you in my prayers daily because it feels like the end is so far still when you are in this kind of pain. Lord, we just pray for your spirit to fall on Jessica and her baby right now and from this moment on and through the delivery. That you would just grace her with your supernatural peace that passes all understanding, that Jess may have peace of mind and sleep that restores her mind and body.
